See, this is the whole problem. People bring up complaints. We respond to the complaint. When it is found out that in order to help the situation, the one who lodged the complaint actually has to do some work (ie take action by reporting any flames they see to a moderator), they say 'forget about it' and ask for the thread to be deleted.
No offense meant, but if you're not willing to help us help you, you have absolutely no right to be complaining in the first place.

Alejo, you said that if people only used the search function this forum would become nothing more than a database. On the same note, if people cannot take constructive criticism AT ALL, this forum would have no discussing and thus become a forum of two post threads (question/answer). If a debate can't take place on an internet forum we have a problem.
This forum has the least flames of all the ones I browse (though I do only browse a few).

I have read,and reread your first post,and I am not to clear on what you suggest.
you seem to just be ranting on because you think Mods can't have super powers to stop inapropriate behavior/actions,and that people aren't able to all agree on the same things.
believe me, i've had my share of thoughts with this guy....he needs to learn to control himself...
i already spoke to him and decided it was best to step off from the forum and from the ROTM competition as everyone started suspecting he was cheating and if he were to win it would just make a bigger problem....

I hope you have learned something from this -- namely the fact that if you see something you don't like, all you have to do is let us know. Someone WILL look at it, and if it is in violation of our rules and policies, it will be dealt with. Plain and simple. You're making a huge mountain out of a molehill.

That is a very reasonable request. What Jersey asked was that, as a member of this forums, you can report the violations so that moderators can act upon it.
In case you were unaware, when you push the button, report post, ALL the moderators get an email. Now it would be perfect if all the members would report problems, but we can only control what we do, not what others do...

It brings you to a form that also lets you fill in the reason why you are reporting it. Hit submit, and an email is sent to all the moderators of that forum. I also receive all of those emails regardless of what section it came from.

it has helped some make money
others fix problems
and most learn about stuff that otherwise they would never know
i don't want this going down the toilet...people tend to get tired of stuff like this
newbies get scared of asking basic questions being afraid of the "bullies" laughing at them for asking...."does a t3/t4 turbo would give me 500HP?" and such quetsions that for us, who had been around cars long enough to know what knock and pinging is, seem like stupid questions...
maybe this forums don't belong to us...
