Disk Stuck in CD Changer

My wife has a 2007 CX7 with 49k miles. The CD player will not eject the CD's. She has 6 CD's loaded. When she pushes eject the player makes a sound like it is trying to eject but displays an error check CD player.

We took the vehicle to the Mazda dealer and was told that it would not be covered under warranty but they could order another one and let us pay for it.

I tried to call Mazda direct but they are all out of the office in a meeting.

Any suggestions on how to fix the problem without taking the dash apart.

The dealer was not even shure how to get the CD's out.

I have had this problem twice in my 08 speed 3 and the oem Bose system.

I'm still waiting to get #2 fixed.

I have the exact same problem now. 2007 CX7 Sport with Bose Sound System. 6 discs loaded and it will not eject any of them. It acts like it is trying to but then just loads the disc again. Anyone got any ideas?

I've got the same problem, CX-7 2007 BOSE 6CD CD-changer is trying to eject the CD - "CHECK CD" is blinking but CD will not go out. The CD changer mechanism is working all the time (I hear that) trying to eject the CD but with no success.

Any ideas how to fix that?

d'oh. same problem in my Mazda5. Anybody ever able to get this fixed without replacing the whole system? How much am I looking at here?

um i've had my cd player replaced twice already under warranty you guys are letting the dealers walk all over you.

45K miles...CD player isn't under warranty anymore, so the dealer isn't walking all over me. I wasn't thrilled about the length of warranty when I bought it, but that's not the dealer's fault, nor is it the issue in question.
