Discrete Aerials

Hi guys,

Wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction or offer any advice, Im looking to change the whip like aerial to a more discrete or stubby style aerial on my 6.
I've seen the BMW type 'fin' but not keen on this, would prefer a short one, any problems with changing the stock item?

It has been discussed before, but allow me to help ya out -
You can go with the CX-7 antenna, which is about 6" tall, or the sharkfin antenna to name a few options. The CX-7 will run you about $20 USD, while the sharkfin runs about $80 USD. I've also heard the Acura RDX antenna works too.

CX-7 antenna part # is EG23-66-A30

Thanks Steve Yes I think I'll look into a replacement CX7 AERIAL but I've since been advised to put on a VW Sharan aerial with built in amp? Rgds

Not really sure what the Sharan looks like, but with the CX-7 one, I had no issues with reception. Just go to your local dealer and ask for that part number. Or you might want to ask for the Mazda 3 MPS antenna (aerial), it should work too.
