Dipping, bouncing Idle with CEL

My car will idle fine at initial startup. Then once the car warms up to about 1/4temp it will begin dipping its Idle every 10 seconds or so.

History. Recenly had Timing belt replaced. Recently was run up on the middle median by a Semi Truck and broke some underbody plastic on the drivers side.

Noticed rough idleing before filling up, Figured I was running my tank to empty and it was having problems pulling fuel. Then it started to do it on a daily basis.

On my last drive of 100miles my CEL has now come on.

I've seen EGR cleaning, O2 Sensors and numerous other issues, but none did I read threw the CEL.

I'm going home today after work to Lift the front end up and look to see if any wires may have gotten ripped off last Tuesday when I got pushed onto the center median.

I'm hoping thats all the problem is.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

sounds like carbon build up in the EGR valve.......gets stuck open for a short time.....easy clean and will make the car run much smoother!

Thanks, Grabbed some Sea Foam on the way home, hoping this is the problem.

:EDIT:
Seems i broke two screws that would not turn on my EGR.... thats not good, will have to figure something out on that, may just drill them out since its only there to hold the pieces together it seems.

Guess the heat/rust welded the threads stiff

Also checked out my spark plugs which didn't really need replaced time/milage wise, but the porcelan seemed a little over heated.

We'll see what tomorrows drive brings me. I'm hoping its all good

I just installed a header and I'm getting the same issue. The idle dips when the car warms up.

Does the header have a hookup for the EGR, If so, is it leaking any? There have been a lot of people do the EGR cleaning and tha thelped them out, but that was probably thier only issue.

go to autozone n have them check the cel, they check it for free. idk wat a egr thing is so im not goin to comment on that. but try auto zone if u can.
