Ok so here the deal, i lived in dallas from 97-2003 and loved every minute of it, i moved to oklahoma in 2003 and i have hated every second. My mind is made up to move back to dallas in the fall of 05 because i'll have 24 hours credit and i can transfer to UNT. The problem is there is a girl in dallas that i care for VERY much, i have a really hard time leaving everytime i go down to see her. And everytime she gets a b/f he ends up treating her like s*** and she cries to me about it because we are so close and i sit there and think to myself about how much better i'd treat her. Shes hinted at her moving to oklahoma to be with me. Problem is she'd have to leave: her job, her friends, her family. I'm not sure i can bring myself to make her give all that up for me, but i want to be with her horribly. I dont know if im really looking for an answer but this seems like a good place to put all my thoughts into words in front of me and take into consideration everyones comments.

how old are you little boy? ;)

seriously, I moved away from home (out of state) when I was 20, its not a big deal, parents understand, and if they wont "let" you do whats best for you without a fuss, then they need a wake up call

yes.. good point

it also cant hurt to get that girl all warmed up by letting her in on your plans... it might really get you off on the right foot, and who knows where it could lead

im going down there to see her this weekend and im going to tell her how i feel and everything and what my plans are. run that up the flag pole and see how it flys

Dallas is much cooler than OK (lived both places)

and UNT is a lot of fun too.. :D I'm about 15 minutes away...

I know Oklahoma is not paradise, but surely you kow that Tulsa is 10000000 times better than "the city"

yeah i know, i just dont go up there much, dont really know anyone up there personally, i had planned on going up there to help with pat's turbo install but it didnt happen.

in all honesty, the Dallas area , and St. louis are the only other cities I'd live in the midwest other than Tulsa... classy towns

I used to think Tulsa sucked, and couldn't wait to move to DFW.
Now I realize it's not so bad here, with a scene that keeps getting better.
