2k3.5 p5 ftw!
whos got a recommendation for a digital cam, that can take really nice pics (of my car) and is under 250$

i am thinking DSC-P72 or DSC-P52

im sure theres some pro's out there that could steer me in the right direction

thanks,
matt

Canon a80. The best 4 meg pixel you'll find. Or the A70 at 3.2 for a little less, but the a80 has a swivel screen like the video cams use, that is really nice to use.

The Sony's aren't bad, but just go use an a80.......the Sony's don't compare.

There's another thread in this off topic section that was about the same thing about a week ago....search.

Nikon has some great cameras... coolpix line

CANON ALL THE WAY BABY!

I have the A80 and it's kick butt.

The A70 and A60 are great models as well. I have a friend who was going to buy a Samsung Digimax 420 (4mp) for 130. I convinced him to change to the A60 (2mp) basically because the quality was sooo much better. It cost him a couple extra dollars (both models on clearance). He's thanked me ever since.

Nothing stands up to the Canons.

Also, I'm not sure if people have noticed, but if you like shooting in burst mode (multiple shots per second), you're best off getting a Lexar 4x or 12x or __x read/write speed card. The Canons' DiGiC processors are just so much faster that the __x will show a difference.

yep ... i have an s400 as well. kicks ass and it's really small, so you don't have to worry about the bulk. i love the PhotoStitch feature! check it out... it's pretty much seamless!
