Differences between 1.8 harness and a pro5 2.0 harness

Is there a difference between the 99-00 protege wiring harness and a 2.0 harness? Found a 1.8 at the junk yard and wondering if I could use it in my car without to much hassle? Thanks

They are different. Use a 2.0L Harness from a 2001+

Is it just the engine wiring different or whole car? Looking for a spare to wire a different motor in there.....

the engine wiring is almost the same. the 1.8 harness doesnt have a knock sensor. also i think the crank position sensor wires may be different. other than that...they are similiar. thats why im gonna go stand alone. 2.0 in a 1.8 car. will be ok but im not getting into the wiring mess, going to take the shortcut(an expensive one)
