Did I pay too much for my M3s? Or is it a decent deal?

Power everything, including moonroof
Very good condition
No rust- except a minimal amount underneath- overall good condition
Only needs very minor work to certify

Car bought for $5700 +HST at dealer *as is*

Dad is a mechanic so he is going to be getting it certified.

It was $5999 but I talked him down to $5700. I am wondering if I still got a good price for this vehicle.
I live in Northern Ontario.

That is all. Thanks

It's a nice car. How do you like it so far? you mention it's a 3s, guessing it has the 2.3 liter?

Personally, I think you got a decent deal. Just for comparison, when my 2003 Protege5 was totaled, the insurance agency gave me about 6 grand for it with 136k miles. But, this is all dependent on the region. Before I decided to buy new, I couldn't find a decent car for what I considered a decent price. Most used cars were going for 10 grand with around 100k miles on it.

I just paid $4800 for a 2007 mazda3 hatchback GT with leather and all that. Has 123k miles, original owner, no accidents, needs some dents fixed, a rear tail light replaced and front fog light replaced. Other than that good to go. I think I got a screaming deal though.

Bob- yeah you got a great deal.

We just picked up a 2006 Mazda 3 auto with 76k for $5700. It is a prior salvage but there was never any frame damage.
