So it says simple install haha. Well here it goes im almost positive the nail like things that came with it are rivets? So do i have to drill hole and use a pop rivet gun?

sooo i just went ahead and used some 3m double sided tape. Believe me its on there too. Held it on there for like 30 seconds, and i was able to rock the car back and forth! so i think it will do for now!

Is this thing just cosmetic or is there performance gains from this? I was thinking of getting one, if it helped push the rear end down at the track. Do you notice a difference?

there is no performance gain to anything attached to this spoiler because this spoiler is in fact a cosmetic attachment. you would have to first make a spoiler that would replace the factory spoiler that was functional. if i were you i would try finding/making something to prevent air from getting under the front end and if you really think the rear need squatting to prevent lift at the track (if its causing problems) i would look into a rear diffuser for the rear bumper to straighten that air out.

The back of this car is so light that I thought a better wing would help keep the back down. Under hard braking it feels like the back wants to come around or over. My Mazdaspeed coilovers has helped with this issue. I just wondered if a wing extension would also help.

i dont think it would....by the time you brake and turn your not going fast enough for the spoiler to be effective. unless your cornering at 70mph. suspension would be your savior. the more your car dips forward the more the back lifts so a tighter front suspension would solve this. the problem with a fwd car under hard braking is all your weight is in the front (tranny, engine). id say all that would really help with this is suspension not aero.
