How far off the ground is your front bumper?

Oh and how do those GC's ride? I've always thought about getting some.

im sittin on tein s techs and i have to creep sometimes! sometimes i have to turn my hazzards on to let other drivers know not to crawl up my but while im trying to make it over this obsticle!

Yea but 400 vs 1000? I'll take the 400 any day. And it's not like I'm going to be racing or anything. I just wanna know if they'll handle as well as my Sprint springs do. I don't need them to be any better or anything.

lol i will have to now, i already bought the thing
and they ride ok, alot bumpier then my tanabe's...well not bumpy, more bouncy
cuz the springs are so small they have to have a high spring rate which makes it bounce some times
over concrete bridges i feel like im about to get whiplash lol

i wouldnt spend the money on them if u had the money for real coilovers honestly
my brother has them too and his ride better since he has the illumina's but still rough

edit: but yea they do handle very well

Why do you think I went from skunks to BCs & I don't race either. There is MASSIVE differences.

ehhh damn. I guess I'll stick with my springs then. I was fired up about getting BC's for a while but then I took a step back and realized that would be me dropping another 1k into the car out of nowhere. I need to slow down a bit. Is the bounciness really that bad?

no not really
but when u transition from springs to the sleeves it gets a little rough
me and my girlfriend dont even notice it anymore

at first it would wake here up when she was sleeping and i would go over a bridge lol
but only the really long ones
now its not so bad, guess they break in?

Hmmm I'll think about it. I also have someone I'm talking to about buying their BC's in a couple months so we'll see. I can always swap back to my Sprint springs if I don't like them I guess... We'll see. But you didn't modify the spring perches did you? I know without modifying those, the max drop on those is 2.25" so you're only a quarter inch lower than me in the front. In the back you're prolly a whole inch lower cause for some reason the back never got the full 2" drop for me.

yea i didnt modify anything

the fronts are all the way down and the backs are half way UP and i cant get a finger between the tire
so im def lower then u in the back but not too much in the front...i really dont like the saggy ass look but i think the lip will even things out

If my Sprint springs did in fact lower me the full two inches and you are lowered the max 2.25" that is advertised (without modding the perches) then the lip SHOULD be fine without raising the front. Even with that 1/4" though, it will be tough and take some getting used to. Kinda like when you first dropped it if you remember that.

honestly ive thought about goin air struts just for this reason! im tired of havin to creep in some places! wish i could just hit a button when needed!

has anyone heard anything bout air struts? ive heard they are simular to the feel of coilovers but i just find that hard to believe!

and yea i was thinking about air for a while too, but whenever i think about it, its because i always see this ricer green acura that has airbags and always drops and raises his car WHILE hes driving lol

so that kinda turns me off of that idea
but sevsev did have a sick p5

Yea I've looked at that air bag setup in the FS thread as well but I don't like the idea of having to hook up the compressor and run the lines, and make sure I have no leaks, And if I did have a leak spring up, looking ghetto as hell with one corner of the car sagging like crazy.
