mmm... rice
hey does ne body kno if the DGM lip sits flush against the car where it rests in front of the lower grill or if it's slightly raised above the stock bumper.... basically i'm tryin 2 c how thick the DGM lip is at that section, is it raised or flat? ne help would b great thanx

well no one was viewing the appearance section when i was goin to post and there were like 10 people viewing the p5 section so i figured i'd get a faster response there. and on a side note i really didn't think my writing was so hard to read. i figured most people would be able to tell the difference between ne/any or c/see it's all pretty legible to me

Personally speaking, as well as speaking for other members of this board, not everyone reads each thread word for word. It almost becomes a nack to speed read posts. When words are written in short hand, especially when numbers are used to complete words, it becomes difficult to read. This isn't a cell phone. Hitting the few extra keys on a keyboard don't consume that much more time. Not to mention, it makes one appear a bit more intellegent to type out a 'real' word ;). Punctuation is important too.

And no one was viewing the appearance section because it's late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. People (except me) are out partying, drinking, and generally have fun, lol. Be patient.

ok gotcha, that's how i text message and IM and i do alot more of that then post on this forum so i've gotten used to typing like that.

it sits flush, but obviously it has a thickness or substance of some sort. prolly about an 1/8-1/4 in.

That's a good point (from the know all, be all of DGM products). Even though the lip does raise the height a bit, it fits very well and looks great, when trimmed and fitted properly.

let me know if you need pics. i have the full CF one, but the height is only slightly greater than the urethane one (ive had both).

oh btw in order to get the lip back to its original form after shipping, what is the best way to do this... i've been told to leave it out in the sun for a while and it should return to normal. however being as it is early feb. the sun is not always out and it's not that hot.

what other methods could i use...blow dryer?? hot water?? about how long would it take?? thanks

if you need to at all, leave it somewhere warm. even in your heated house over night shoudl do the trick just fine. otherwise use a blow dryer and mold it where you want it.

lol matthew your quite the all knowing of DG products...you say the lip is about 1/8" or so taller where it meets the lower grill, you wouldn't happen to have a close up shot of that would u?? thanks alot, keep em comin...
