[DFW] Cafe RPM! It's sweet!

ok, just thought I'd pass on a little info to the rest of my Mazda brethern. The Rx7 club has found a new weekly hangout!

Irving, TX

We met up tehre last night and this place rocks! Option & drift videos on the TV's. Rack & racks of car magazines, couches, tabels, and a cool patio outside to chill on. The owner hunted us down and specifically invited us to join and we had a blast.

We're going to head out tehre again next wedesday at 7-8pm, so if anyone around is in the area, but sure to come by!

The owner was excited to have us all out, and is the owner of an brand new EVO himself... Come swing on by!

yea, it's brand new... in fact the sign still says "Cafe Vienna" on the outside.. it's going to be 2 weeks before they have that switched over.

I guess this guy just bought it form other guy. It's like a little coffee shop/muchy food place with a "JDM/Import" whatever type theme...

Yeah, it was a cool place with better wings than Hooters! (wow) The turnout was great. Finally saw Andy's Supra, and that Turbo GS400. Insane.

nope, that's Tabitha, just a firend of his... Gimme a week, and if all goes well maybe she'll be mine. She's incredible..

we'll definately be out there next Wed... Probably between 7-8pm. IF all goes well I'll have my 7 back on the road..

We had the 2JZ powered GS300 (with a nice T04r) Andy's Supra, (complete with all of teh one-lap decals still on the side) and about a dozen rx7's, a couple protege's and a 204 or two..

Ok, I just wanted to put this back at the top to get it on everyone's radar. This Wednesday is the day. Location is at MacArthur and Northgate in Irving.

you can see teh scraped up rocker panels on my car that I didn't know I had until I washed it the other day....


Linux, did you make it over to Gotham last night? what did you think? I got stuck at discount tire forever so I didn't make it over there to meet you... (even though I was only about 2 blocks away)

Yeah I made it out there. Ihor gave me a ride in his RX-7, and oh my God! It was insanely fast! (shocked). He like left a Z06 Vette standing still...It had no chance! He told me he beat a Lambo Diablo by a car, and I definitely believe it! Never been in a car that fast! Overall the place rocked. I had a hard time finding it at first.

heh.. yeah, he's got a fast car.. no doubts about that...

Sadly I think he probably has the slowest car of the 4 guys who run the place...

Ihor's & Rich's cars should be pretty close.. Same basic port job, but Ihor is running the GT35/40 and Rich is running a set of BNR Stage 3 twins non-sequantially...

I wanna see Ihor & Rich run.

None of them are running anything under mid 400's.. Don't know exact numbers.
