Detroit Speed Shop just opened up where Ramchargers used to be at Plymouth and Ann Arbor Rd. in Livonia. I stopped in there today at lunch to check it out. Very cool guys that work there. It's owned by the same people that own Livernois Motorsports.

I have been looking for a local shop that carries Redline trans fluid for a while now, and they are the first place that has had it. It's nice to walk in and see a shelf full of Redline and Royal Purple in all kinds of flavors!

They are having a car show inthe parking lot on Saturday, May 6th. It should be decent. The guy I talked to has a black 92 AWD TSi that runs 11's, and I saw a nice EP3 in the parking lot.

Oh, just to clarify, it's not really a "shop". It's basically just like Ramchargers was before. They mostly have domestic muscle car parts, but they do have a few goodies for us. They actually carry Innovate widebands IN STOCK! I thought that was pretty cool. Plus the guys there are really cool.

I forgot to mention that they will have a dyno there on Saturday. $50 for 2 pulls (2WD only, no AWD). Not a bad price if you ask me.

They said you have to register, so I would imagine it is. I doubt it will be very large due to the small parking lot, though.

Ar you talking about the Thai place in Plymouth on Main St.? If so, that place kicks all Thai ass.

Did anyone go to this on Saturday? I was disappointed that it was ALL muscle cars. I did see one hot looking black MSP parked in the parking lot, but then I realized that it was mine. I was hoping to see some imports show up to use the dyno.

Strangely enough, I was driving by Livernois Motorsports the other day and noticed a banner in front of the building advertising a web site called http://www.detroitspeedshops.com. I guess they're all joining together. Hopefully that's good news for us consumers.

Yeah, it's the same people that own both shops I guess. I had no idea that the building had bay doors in the back. It will be nice to have another shop in town.

APi has the same number. Was there today, saw your car. Course I am there once a week. Mark is a great asset for my car.
