Dension DICE in CX-7

Quick question about CX-7 headunit and Dension DICE adapter. I'm trading my 06' Mazda3 in for a CX-7 (no Nav unit). My 3 has a Dension DICE iPod adapter which works beautifully. My question is, can I use this adapter on my new CX-7 headunit? I asked the dealer and they told me it's the same HU that's in the Mazda3 but I take what the dealer says with a grain of salt.

Thanks CX-7's=LOVE, I really appreciate you doing some research on this. I had briefly googled and came up short. I have the standard bare bones CX-7 without sirus so I'm assuming the port isn't occupied. I'll know tomorrow when I finally get this baby! Thanks again.

Those looking for yet another alternative to the stock mazda iPod adapter should check out the Dension ICE too, works great with the wheel controls and head unit.
