Ha, you don't have a lot of faith in your team do you? Yes or no? Come on. You have so much confidence in your 180 win team.

I do, which is why I was upset with their poor performance yesterday.

They will obviously be better than .500, and most SURELY better than your Cubs.

Your inability to stop being an e-thug is hilarious.

I.... didn't challenge anything, thuggeroo.

This is like shooting fish in a barrel. Too easy.

That is cool Phil. I just wanted to see how much confidence you had in your team, and you answered my question.

brewers are going to win the nl central this year.

btw, i dont think many cubs fans get the significance of the tribune co. being sold. the guy that bought it owns a stake of the white sox, which means he will be selling the cubs (you cant own 2 teams). the significant part is whether or not wrigley field will be sold along with the team. if not, the cubs may not play at your precious beer garden for much longer. it is possible that they could build a new stadium in the burbs.

I don't think it has been bought yet Jose.. And chances of Wrigley being sold as well not very good. And I wouldn't bet against the brewers since all the NL central teams have a chance to win it.

from what i understand, Zell has to sell the cubs due to owning part of the sox. cant have that conflict of interest going on.

i dont think anyone will screw with wrigley field. theres no way. this coming from a baseball indifferent viewpoint, wrigley field has way more history and impact on the city than "new" comiskey (sox park, white sox baseball presented by us cellular, whatever you want to call it), which is already falling apart.

i dont care either way about baseball, but wrigley is definetly cool from a historic standpoint.

i completely agree that wrigley is one of the most historic buildings in chicago, let alone baseball stadium, but this is business we're talking about. we need to look no further than the eyesore on the lakeshore (new soldier field) to prove this. they took a historic building, leveled 90% of it, built a spaceship, and had its landmark status revoked in the process, all in the name of the mighty dollar.

true, actually the fact you mention landmark status is interesting. landmark status turns out to be a ******* joke. some landmarked building is getting demolished on michigan ave so a developer can build condos. so apparently, if you throw a ton of money a the landmark society, they'll revoke the status of the building. whats next, the water tower?
