No Question...If I could afford it, I would go with the WRX, definately blue...You can't beat a car like that. Turbo, AWD, tons of mods readily available...Next on the list is easily the MSP...we all know why. I can't speak for the Sentra, because I never looked at them. The Civic SI is just crap in my opinion. The last Honda I would ever purchase is a 99-2000 SI. I've seen the new SI's in person, heavily modded(body kits, rims, lowered, C.F. Hoods...)and they still look like a miniature Honda Oddessey.

Oh yeah...the 2003.5...less mods, more money...how does that make sense??

how much would you be getting a wrx for?

In my calculations and investigatoins, a loaded wrx will run ya around 27k, and the spec-v and msp are loaded cars, so load the wrx to make it a relatively fair comparo. and at 25-27k, i would squeeze a cple out of my wallet for an EVO, or drop back and get a nice lookin spec-v or gorgeous msp and have plenty of money left over for mods. especially livin in florida where you will never need awd. Hell how about a automatic rx8 for 25k? i beleive the manual with 250 will start at 27.......

i dunno, wrx just doesnt make sense to me

1) WRX
2) MSP 3.5 (love that titanium and yellow)

WRX is spendier though... that's why I'm in the MSP (BTW: not regretting it)

If i had the $$$$$ there would be a WRX in my garage...like slug says they are not in the same price range.

I figure an MSP with some mods will keep me happy until I can get my........

STI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

test drive both a MSP and a spec V..they are different and good cars for different reasons. spec v has a good engine with gobs of torque and cranks out 175 hp sans turbo. nice interior as well.

MSP has way better steering feel, and does not understeer like the spec V

SER Spec V= POS with crap interior. I never trust Nissans build quality.

Either the MSP 03 or the WRX in my oppinion.

i have a good friend with the GTI (337) 20th anniversary car, in silver. All he does is complain about that thing. The handling is awful, things keep falling off. If any of theese is going to be a issue for you , I might rethink the 337. Car lookd good though. Thats what sold him on it in the firsst place.

heh, everyone has their problems with a car and it's not like the wrx has great handling either. the spec-v.. well that has it's own share of problems and the wrx/honda/msp have generally standard japanese type interiors (all share similar design cues and elements) and it's nothing to write home about. but i guess what you're looking for is different.. heh so each to his own =) gl with your choice :)

2003 Black Mica

Everyone knows........ I Love My MAZDASPEED!! (k) (k) (k)

Florida, Arizona, Maine, Montana, etc... Black Mica rocks no matter where it is resides!

More heat? So what? That's why there's air conditioning. If you like black, heat won't keep you from buying black. That's always been a bunch of happy horseshit what people say about that.

Yeah! It kind of goes like this; "Oh no, Billy!! Don't buy Black - It's too HOT here for Black!!" bulls***! Be your own man. Don't be a fuddy duddy.

Not to mention (again) The 2003.5 front end sucks!

Questions? Anyone? Anyone?........Bueller??

Nice call. BTW, you an Eusketel fan?

This is easy....if you got enough money...wrx. get a 2004 if you got that kinda cash.

But, in my mind, because of the sheer price difference, the wrx is in a different cat. of cars.

As for the 2003.5 not having as many aftermarket mods available as the 2003....well,BS. The front lip will keep you from putting something like an Autoexe lip on it ( only if your too stupid to take the 2003.5's existing lip off first) Other then that, they are the EXACT same cars with the exact same aftermarket support. If anything with the 2003.5's coming out, you can expect to see more mods in the future because there's more demand.

As most know, and I have said before; I was going to buy a Nissan Spec V SE-R (if it was a year ago), but I just think that design is really showing it's age. Very dated looking.

The Protege is a design that holds up.

And too; The WRX is based at about $4000 more. It is really apples and oranges. Not a fair comparison.

I can't believe you wouldn't walk in and get the Black MSP for 18K. Edmunds TMV has it over 21K. While that may be high since the cars are not jumping off the lot, up here in Maryland I can't get one below MSRP. It's the better investment at the moment. Your resale will probably be decent should you want to sell it next year.
