After much research and debate, I've decided I'm going to order my vehicle with the leather package from Mazda. I find that a lot of these after market kits have wrinkles that show up in the leather because although they are fitted via manufacturer specs, upon install, you can see even from many pictures available on the web of aftermarket installation, that many of these mass market kits pull in the corners and just don't have that snug fit to them.
It's an extra $900 here in Canada and I'll get the aftermarket heat element installed too via aftermarket. After getting some quotes on the available aftermarket leather kits, after installation costs, extra foam/padding if req'd during installation, it'll run me at least $1,500.
Bottom line is adding the leather only adds $15/mth on my payments, more than feasible as far as I can tell...
