Ok here's the game. Tell me which one is the euro spec silverstar and I'll give you... nothing but do it anyways.
Yeah you got it right...the osram isn't quite as white. the fog bulbs are stock, I guess it's a bad picture but it does accurately show the difference between Sylvania and Osram.tttP5 said:left one is sylvania
right is osram.
can you take a shot of the light pattern on the ground or on a wall that is the best way to tell the brightness of each.
what lights are you using for your fogs btw?

If ur talking about my pics.. nope. OEM fogsREMillers said:The fog lights he is using are PIAA Ion Crystal H3s (Fogs) as noted in the sig.
No doubt about it, since they are both the same wattage but the osram has clear glass, it should in fact be brighter, but have you seen the blue coating on the Sylvania H7? on the H7 specifically it's veeeery light, and if the osram looks brighter in my pics it's because the driver side headlight seems to be aimed up a little.tttP5 said:well i guess looking at the PICs the performance of the OSRAM should be better than that of the SYLVANIA.... becuase i have a set of SYLVANIA on my car and they have a very ligth blue tint on the bulb.... probably thus allowing them to be slightly whiter than the OSRAMs....
therefore even if they both produce the same amount of light output the OSRAMS would be better because there is no blue tint on the blub to absorb part of the yellow light spectrum, and thus osrams should be a little more better theoretically because no part of the light spectrum is cut out to produce the whiteness
