Dealership giving us 1k credit for accessories

Whatever you do, don't pay for a Sirius or XM anything! I'd be willing to bet a lot that you can find something equivalent to the Mazda thing for much less than $430. Probably free if you're willing to do a 1 year commitment or something.

Good Point

Ok well I went and talked with the General Manager and they decided to cut me a check instead of credit for accessories. Well they are going to reimburse me for my troubles so they are giving me a check this monday for 2 thousand dollars. So what do I do with the 2 thousand dollars. Of course its going into the car..

the car needs nothing but CAI. Dude ms3 comes with very nice 18" rims. you paid for all that when you bought the car. CAI and the rest in your bank. The car comew with a very good exhuast. Stock exhuast is very good and loud. Mazda speed exhaust is tooooooooooooooooooooooooo loud.. CAI for more power and lovely turbo sound.. The car needs nothing bro. DOnt spend all that money on something you dont need.

Yea the CAI will be the first, but I have never had a car that I did not replace the wheels with something different. I am looking at some bbs wheels and will be getting a price this monday on the complete set.

do neither, put the money into the price of the car and have them prorate your payment. You will be happier in the end! Or if you just really need something just go with the MS intake, however I am not sure how it is in vegas but here in florida I shudder at the possibility of hydrolocking.

Now, the next thing you do is contact your favorite news station in the Valley and tell them exactly what went down...after you've used this credit up, of course.

This stuff needs to be caught on camera. I went to Courtesy Imports, which seems connected to People's, but I've bought two cars from them without hassle or B.S.

Its worth it to travel to Henderson, IMO!

Would drop the payments by only 17 dollars a month. Not really worth it considering my payments are only 255 a month.

LOL, you have a point. I am jealous of your car payment. I pay 357.85. The dealer also gave me a 500.00 credit, I think I will save mine for servicing the car.

OK,Ok... you have $2k. Do you want all out wheels, go fast parts or a combination of both?

If you want wheels, I don't see the point of spending all that money on BBS, I mean, come, on we don't drive a Porche or BMW. I would get a good set of Enkei's, RoTa or something similar. That will set you back around $1,200, so you will still have $800 to play on mods. Obvious choice will be Cai, motor mount and either a downpipe or a tmic. Done! Go fast AND look good.

If you only want performance, s*** you can go nuts! CAI, MM, TBE, TMIC, MBC, Gauges. The choice is yours my friend.

I don't see a problem with the BBS rims this car deserves quality wheels. I don't especialy like the rota idea. I like to get the real rims not some knockoffs.

If I had 2K to spend on this car, I'd:

Get someone's like-new RX8 wheels for ~$400
Install 235/40-18's, nice and sticky (your brand to choose) ~$500
Cobb SRI ~$175
Mazdaspeed springs (or similar) ~$400 installed
CDFP ~$500

$200 left to buy some good wax/polish and keep 'er shiny

I said Enkei, RoTa or similar. BBS= $2,500 wheels only. I you want to get butt *****, go for it. Besides, you only paying for the name.

I would personally go with some of the new Volks as a first choice in wheels with some enkeis as a very close second.

you guys have been lots of help and I have pretty much narrowed it down to 2 wheels. My top pick is a set made by Gram Lights (RAYS) in a 18x8 dark grey color. here is a pic

my second pick is the infamous OZ Ultraleggera wheels. I know everyone has them but for the price and quality you really cant go wrong.

I will have enough to buy the Cobb CAI or I can just hack into the savings and get the MSP CAI.
