Looking into getting a mazda speed 3
in orange county.

any dealer recommendation and looking for a dealer with good part department for mazdaspeed products thanks

Sorry dont know in OC but if you care to take the trip up North to the SF Valley or Santa Clarita then Galpin is the one for you... not only are they the largest but Ive gotten exceptional treatment from them (both in sales and in service)

Galpin quoted me a god awful price for the CAI. Every time i've been there they treat me with the usual sales BS. I bought mine from Alhambra Mazda and they were easy to deal with. I was on the lot today getting my car serviced and they had a red MS3 sport and a black MS3 GT there.

how come ive never seen you driving around?

I go to Tustin Mazda. tell Nick HUgh sent ya.
They always treat me well there. No b.s No mark up.
They have a used true Red MS# on the lot right now 15,000 mile sfo rlike 22 or something i think 21.

Wehen i bought my speed in January they had alsready sold somethig like 16 by then. They usually have at least 1 on hand or can tell you when the next one is coming in and what options it has.

Go too Oak Tree Mazda or Galpin, only dealer who stocks more parts then my dealer in the Southwest. The only dealer in California with a descent service customer satisfaction score is Wheeler Mazda. Galpin does the most volume of New Car Sales in CA so that might be your best place for price of car. Dont know so much about their service, but they are high volume on parts and cars.

I went to Browning Mazda for my MS3. They were the only dealership where someone actually came out to speak to me when I was browsing. All the other dearlerships let me wander aimlessly without so much as a "May I help you?".

But I really think bottom line is they are all out to get as much money from you as possible. Go to any dealership, if you don't get a good vibe after a few minutes speaking to a salesman then move on.

I almost bought that red speed3 gt from Tustin. However, they won't allow me to put a deposit down to hold the car from tuesday night until wednesday, so I went and bought mine used with 9k gt for the same price from a private seller I luckily found.

I went to Browning too. I contacted them online then they scheduled an appointment with me. When I got there they were cool. Ask for Sherlie and she will help you. Funny thing is I didn't even test drove the speed3 i just went by the info here at the forums haha.

do NOT go to GALPIN!! i had the worst experience ever there. they made me drive down there 3 times from bakersfield, CA for NO REASON. they claim to be the largest volume dealer and that they can give you the best price or "beat anyones price, no problem" but they won't. i got a better deal at Star Mazda in Glendale. To top it off, for all of the inconvenience, they granted me a $100 gift certificate.... only to be used at their location! so i had to drive down there again! i basically spent my own $100... Galpin Mazda sucks ass.

Stay away from Galpin, they are pure crooks. Ive dealt with them trying to buy SVT products.

As far as Tustin Mazda goes, i second that its a good dealership. Their sister dealership, huntington beach mazda has a good sales staff but their service dept is terrible. My car will NOT be going back there for service ever again.

I was due for my 7500 mile service and 5 recalls. Also had a clunk from my rear swaybar that i had tightened 3 weeks prior. They of course blame it on my aftermarket exhaust as usual. The new service adviser told me the swaybar problem is only for the mazda 3 and that there are no problems regarding the MS3. I provided him with 34 pages of threads here about the swaybar problem and he said basically i was full of s*** and that 15% of the forums is truth. I laughed in his face and demanded my car be completed by 6:00pm. I really dont want to get into the whole story in your thread but bottom line is, stay away from the service dept in HB if youre a true enthusiast and care about your mazda being serviced correctly.

Goodluck on your purchase, you will love your MS3.

i don't know about the sales dept, but i had a tough time with the service dept at Star Mazda in Glendale. getting them to even recognize that there was a tsb on clutch chatter drove me insane.

another time, they charged me $85 to reconnect my heater controls which i knew they ****** up, but couldn't prove it. (yes, reconnecting the heater controls is a 5 min job that i could've done myself, i realized it after i had them do it). anywhoo, unless they've overhauled their service dept (mike, the chubby service writer was more interested in hitting on the chicks working there than acknowledging me standing in front of him) don't go there.

i went to browning mazda in cerritos for my p5...best service and look for stan webb, he was my sales rep...
