Dealer prices.

2008.5 MS3
I have a 2008.5 Speed3 with 57,000 on the car and I called 4 dealers to get prices for changing the plugs. They ranged from 300.00, 223.00, 190.00, and all the way down to 91.00. I live in the Atlanta Ga. area and cannot believe the discrepancy in the the pricing of these 4 dealerships. Has any one ever encountered this with pricing on anything for our cars, please feel free to comment.

Why can't you do it yourself?

$50 for NGK stock replacement spark plugs. $5 for a decent spark plug gapper. Removing stock intercooler=10 minutes at most. unbolt/unclip/remove coil packs, 5 minutes.
Gapping spark plugs to precisely .030", installing yourself, saving $50+.......priceless.

Thought about it, but the dealer I went to charged me 91.00 flat and I had it done on my lunch hour, which was great.

Which dealers did you contact? Which was cheapest/most expensive?

Any of them mod friendly?

Allright guys i can do it myself however for 91.00 it was ridiculous not to get it down by a Mazda dealership. Also got it done on my lunch hour which my boss paid for. The 4 dealerships are Roswel Mazda which was the cheapest, Moss Robertson, Rick Case and Mall of Ga Mazda. Rick Case was 300.00.
