Date for the Ocala Meet?

It is a close race between November and January. Not sure what to do. If we do hold it in one of the 2 available weeks in November, (Dodge show there one weekend, Turkey Day one other weekend) I wonder if we would get a good turnout. And what if we did it in November and January. Woudl people still go for both...

If we can get the turn out in Jan. then I am all for waiting I would love nothing more then to see about 100 cars come out and show support for the forums and the community, to be honest I would go to meets once every few monthes if people turned out....but thats my 2 cents. I was also thinking lets set a date to decide, on the actual date Raider I think you should be master of ceremonies since it was your idea in the first place....just a thought though.(bow)

based the votes here, and on FL Mazda club, it seems like a draw between November and January. I am nto sure what to do, but i am leaning on going ahead with November, and use that to set the stage for a follow up meet in January. We need to call the museum to see what weekends are open though. We might not even be able to hold it there in November.

I am happy to be the mc, but I got so much on my plate right now, I am not sure how much time I can dedicate to the meet. Thus, i got help from others!

What shoudl we do?

It looks like a pretty even split between November and January. I think we oughta meet up in November, as well as January. November will be a good time weather-wise to meet at the museum. If we meet up this far north in january, we will all free our butts off. i am thinking January for another meet, posibly elsewhere.

As far as the date, for the event, we have the following weeks. The 12th, 19th, and Thanksgiving week the 26th. I think we need to forget that week, as many will be with familia.

Why don't we do this meet the 12th or 19th? Crap, should I start yet another thread? Fugget. Reply what date is best, the 12th or 19th of November. If someone wants to start a thread for a January meet maybe further south where it is not freezing, that would be nice.

rofl wish i could go...no monies right now to road trip for this...even though id be game for it...november no go cause thanksgiving will be spent playing xbox360 and xmas ill be going to mexico...hopefully

and then january = winter for us up here and no summer tires...even though ill be selling those shortly and prob going for some black rims possibly 18's BWAHAHA.

ZumZumsGirl and I would love to meet up with some other Mazda people, SHe has the 3 and I have the 8 and MX-6, we both live in Gainesville however I work in Ocala over off S Pine Ave near 200. All we have to do now is figure out which cars we should bring to the meet.
