I've got one of the front of an MS6, kind of at an angle. It's pretty cool; it came on the DH which I bought from someone that helped with the beta testing. I haven't been able to play with the DH much due to Vista issues...how would I go about copying/posting/sharing the splash screen when I remember/have the time to use the DH at my work computer?

provided its the right format. just save the .BMP file to your PC.
then copy/move the file into the program directory folder named "splash".
Example location: "C:\Program Files\Dashhawk v2\Splash\"

then plug ur DH into ur PC, start up the MSD program.
select the "Edit Splash Screen" option, then "import" and select the folder you placed the file in and select the file. blamo! No say choose the "update to dashhawk" button or whatever it says.

i dont even know if there is a DPI limit just file size limit, mglavina.
mebe save one of the OP pics and see if you can figure out dpi from those?

Ok, I get the general gist, but I am talking about a file I already have on my DH, so I will customize the above to copy it from my DH to my computer, then post it here to share. It looks like a scanned photo; I think you'll like it.

yay, idk if you can export BMPs already on your splash from the DH.
the CD comes with ones already on it, as well as the latest version of the software you DL from the website (which i suggest).

if you CAN, then you're set.
if you CAN'T, then you'll have to make one from scratch and save a copy to your PC, then import to your DH.

if you do manage to get it, post it up! (wiggle)

just checked last night, sadly you cannot import splash BMPs from your DH to your PC.

The quality looks so low... I'm afraid if I make some they will be too large... hmmm
