Dashhawk Cold Weather Behavior

I am sure I read something on this recently, but I can't find the thread so forgive me if this is a repeat.

I finally got my DH installed/mounted this weekend so this was my first morning with it. The display did not come on right away, took about 1 min, and then kept cycling off/on for at least 5 minutes. Is this normal, do I have a defective DH ? I have been using the DH occasionally for the last 2 weeks but this is the first time using it after it had been in the car all night.

Maybe some of you guys north of the border can give me some input considering our similar weather

BTW - it was +8F this morning

my dh never acted up during even -30 degrees Celcius.
my car just wants to relearn the tune's every time :( stupid, and gas milage is suffering lol.

Check that the connection is tight.
Only issue I have in the cold with my dh is that the LCD crystal can be slow to change or has dark spots, same thing if I leave it in the car on a hot summer day
