It was just sitting in my driveway minding its own business when all the wind we had today broke the top of a maple tree and dumped it on her.
I thought at first the tree had missed my car, but no such luck.
It hit the roof, windshield, hood, and left various scrapes all over, including some on the passenger side. The roof and windshield got the most damage.
The branches were actually resting on the car, mostly the roof. Got a couple big dents in the roof. (The following pic after I did a bunch of cutting and got the tree off my car
At this point I'm just sick about it. I take really good care of my vehicles and I know from past experience that body shops never get things 100% back right, maybe 90% if you're lucky. I wonder if I have a case to get the car replaced? It only has a little over 3,000 miles on it.
Sympathy and advice on dealing with the insurance company welcome.
