Damage Due to Subwoofers

Hey, was just wondering has anyone ever had problems with their subwoofers? Hah, I won't consider mine a problem. I just love how they knock.

Yesterday, however, while I was listening to some deep bass rap songs, my rearview mirror actually fell off while I was driving on the highway. I was in utter shock. I can see that it was bound to happen, and it caught me by surprise. I had to hold the mirror in my lap for a twenty min drive, with the wire for power and compass hanging infront of me.

Hah, has anyone experienced something similar or their own strange occassions?

I think my sub broke my gas gauge on my old GM car. About a month after putting in my sub my gas gauge started acting funny. Every once in a while when my sub hit hard the gauge would do something weird at the same time. Pretty soon the gauge just read something random which had no relation to the amount of gas in the tank.

The rearview mirror falling off happend in my Acura TSX as well. It's just all the bass vibration over time. Nothing broke so I wasn't concerned.

A certain piece of plastic that holds the mirror. It has grooves so the mirror actually slides into it and is held in place. That certain piece of plastic, the left grooves broke off for me, hah.
