So, I received a set of DDM bulbs today (yay!) and I'm going to be replacing them...hopefully tonight. Is it possible to do this without removing the bumper and headlights? I really don't want to have to go through that trouble, since I live in an apartment complex. If it IS possible, how would I go about doing that? I've tried the twist and pull method but it doesn't seem to be working. Is that totally wrong or do I just need more manly man muscle to do it?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I removed the bumper cover when I did my low beams. It definitely made the job easier. I didn't remove my headlights, though. Between changing the low beams and fogs, as well as adding clear corners and removing the lower air box, I've become fairly proficient in removing the bumper cover; it can be done in less than 15 minutes.

the cords twist and lock onto the bulbs but there is also a ring type "lock" that hold the bulb in.....i found its easiest to remove the headlight housings.
You can change them without removing but it's very difficult and you will scratch up your hands quite a bit.
driver's side is pretty easy unless you still have the stock airbox....passenger side takes a little more flexiblilty.....I did it once reaching up thru the wheel well by pulling back the fender liner.
but like i said.....its not an easy task, but is possible.

Gotcha. Yeah, I'm trying to avoid doing that because my apartment complex doesn't like it when I work on my car. Replacing my intake is one thing but pulling the whole bumper off is something else ;)

Well, I ended up removing the bumper and all went smoothly. Yeah, that was definitely a hell of a lot easier than doing it without removing it...hah.
