D2 Coilovers?

Has anyone tried the D2 coilovers for the 2 before? I found them on a reputable site for only $100 more than the Bilsteins, and they're 36 way adjustable damping/rebound. The site doesn't say ride height options. Also they're a nice color purple, which is a perk :)

So... yeah. Anyone seen them / have them / know heights with them?

I don't have much personal experience with them but I believe the K-Sport and D2 Coilovers are manufactured at the same facility. I know one of the members on here with a 2 has the K-Sport coilovers installed.

Oh cool, I just found the K-Sports on a site as well. Interested in hearing feedback on either of them.

You might try sniffing around the Honda-Tech web site. They've gone through every coil over suspension in the world over there.

Hard to beat Bilsteins (known quantity, quality, performance, support, etc, etc) and if they are $100 cheaper??????

And, Corksport has them and stands behind their products.

Yeah... Bilstein is a far more reputable company... I know they don't have the adjustable dampening, but the bilsteins seem to be the standard on the B-Spec Mazda2's. I'd say that says a lot.

I had k-sports on my civic. Worst suspension every. I wouldn't ever buy k-sports or D2 or function form. Just get bilstiens, or wait for the koni yellows, and get ground controls.

I've heard lots of reports of the D2/K-Sports being all over the map on a suspension dyno.. which is a bad thing.

Yah, i'll definitely avoid them. I learned a long time ago to avoid anything that makes Eric Hsu mad :)
