D-Power Range

I ahve the 2.0 in my mazda 3? On cosworth's site they note 2.3 and 2.0 d-power range. Will the kit bolt to the 2.0?? marcymotorsport noted that the intake manifold will fit the 2.0 but does not say if it has the same power gains. Lastly at marcymotorsport does the 2.0 focus duratec pruducts fit the mazda 3 2.0? I'm not sure what to think somebody please tell me what works and what doesn't as far as mazda/focus bolt up for the 2.0. Thx

bump for a good question as i haven't seen much info on the 2.0 for focus botl ups... i know there are issues for the 2.3 with most of the cosworth stuff, though that is hopefully changing... good luck..

Most likely it will not fit. I believe the engine is completely different. The 2.3 may be similar, I doubt the 2.0. Ford will have different heads and possibly a different block set up. Cannot say for sure, but if it did work I believe they would market it Mazda owners.

What parts do you wanna find out about? Try talking to Cosworth, they are helpful.

The intake man. fits the 2.3 Mazda3 head, but requires modification for use with the electronic throttle body...it was designed for a mechanical unit.

The shallow oilpan requires extensive rework of the pump/pickup interface and requires you to lose the balance shaft mechansism.

Short answer...you will need a competent machine shop to make the parts work.
