CX7 vs CX5 Bose differences

I have noticed several differences in the the Bose system on my CX5 vs my CX7. The AVC has only the one option on the CX5 and is not as well suited for the vehicle as I would want. The CX5 doesn't not adjust volume when going from FM station to station which requires readjusting. The sounds quality is just a good on the CX5 as it was on my CX7. Kind of sorry Bose left off the two options which I would have wanted. Ed

More likely it is Mazda who left off the extra functions, not Bose. Bose simply supplies the speaker system and amplifier for the vehicles. It's up to Mazda to decide how to use them.
