to start with all was fine with the integrated sat nav, phone system. I could read my texts and emails at will on the screen no problem. Now all of a sudden I can't download them and it keeps saying download failed try again later. I have since discovered that the dealer only gave me 3 months free live services on Tom Tom (very annoyed about that) but surely that shouldn't effect my ability to use the handsfree phone system to read messages? Sometimes I can get the phone to connect via Bluetooth straight away and sometimes it says Bluetooth setup. is there something I am doing wrong here, very frustrated.
can anyone help me please

I've never used the text feature so I can't help you there, but you should have received a letter from Sirius and in that letter there is a code to call them and they will extend the free service for another 6 months. Unless the salesman said otherwise, Mazda is not responsible for your Sirius subscription, Sirius only gives a trial.

The three month free live services is standard on all new CX-5s sold in the UK. (Ignore the Sirius reference made by Skorpio - that's a US satellite radio service). As far as the texts and emails are concerned I would go back to he dealer but I'm not sure where that will get you. You'll find that this forum has lots of posts about the quirkiness of the Mazda's infotainment system and the failure of the system to do what it purports to do. Personally I've never been able to read either emails or texts on my iPhone 5 via the system.........it doesn't bother me really as in my opinion you shouldn't be doing those things while driving anyway.

You can renew your Live Services via an option in Settings within the Tom Tom menu.

I had that happen once. I deleted my phone from the car memory & repaired it & it worked. Give that a try before you take it in. Worked for me.
