Over the past year or so I have noticed that my DPF is doing an active regen every 90ish miles. It doesn't seem to be doing any type of passive regenerating, inpy filling up and causing an active regen
After plugging my OBDII reader in I noticed that the exhaust gas temperature bank sensor 4 was showing as - 40 degrees, when the engine was hot. I have been trying to locate and find an image of where this sensor is, to order a new one (as I believe this is my issue and why it isn't burning off and filling the dpf quicker) can anyone tell me a part number or show me exactly where egt sensor 4 is?
Just to note that when the dpf carries out an active regen all the dpf stats go to zero, so it is cleaning out fine.
