I think id still prefer this scenario to changing plugs on a DOHC boxer motor.

I didnt get a chance to look for the sub-radiator yet, just had a medical procedure done that has taken me out of commission. But it will exist on the passenger side, likely tucked into the area underneath the headlight. It has a shroud and air feed coming from somewhere in the this area. At some point once I figure out if its visible from any easy-ish location, would like a non-S to confirm if they have it or not.
