I'm now considering Grand Touring models instead of Touring because it's hard to find used CX-9s with the backup camera and liftgate options on the Tourings. I was not considering the GT before because the wood trim is disgusting (IMO). Does anyone have recommendations on replacements for the wood trim, I prefer brushed aluminum.

There are none that I am aware of. Your other option is to buy the sub-base model black trim and remove the GT simulated wood trim.
By the way, before I bought my CX-9, I hated simulated wood trim of any kind, and wanted nothing to do with it, but now after owning this, I really like the color it has in the CX-9, some how it just works.
