since i have a 2010 Touring, i had to go the DDM Tuning route in order to get HID's.
well, the color and brightness are ok, but the beam cut-off and pattern drive me nuts.
i am used to my parents BMW and side by side you see the major difference.

i love the sharp look of the E-Code lamps and was looking for some OEM replacements from Europe (non-UK).
however, after looking around some more it appears that the CX-9 was never sold in Europe at all and the closes import i can find is in Russia, and they appear to be just imported US versions.

Anybody know an answer to this?
is the 9 available in Europe or able to source the headlamp units from somewhere?

I know this thread is a couple months old but since nobody replied I'll do it. DDM bulbs are garbage. The quality control is not good and the bulbs can affect your cutoff and pattern including hot spots. The DDM bulbs also run hotter on average than higher quality bulbs such as Morimoto or Phillips and can burn or melt your headlight components. I recommend you pick up Morimoto bulbs from theretrofitsource.com and you can even retrofit higher quality projects or lenses to replace the OEM's. Send TRS an email with any questions and they'll help ya find a solution.

I find the standard projector beams to be very bright compared to many cars on the road. Adjusting the angle up may provide better range for you.
