My CX-9 had some work on the tranny done a while back. Since then, the engine feels rougher / noisier when raising the revs at idle (in park) or accelerating. Its not outrageous (like a hole in the muffler), but you can tell. The start of the noise may be coincidental with timing of the other work. What do you think it might likely be? If they drop your tranny to do work, what gets tinkered with? Could it be exhaust, manifold, engine mounts, tranny mounts? Noise / vibration comes from front half of car. Any theories or approaches to determine the issue would be appreciated.
