CX 7 navigation system/GPS

Hi folks. new to this forum. I just bought a CX 7 2011 which I really like driving. It has a navigation screen and controls on the steering wheel but when I press 'enter' the screen tells me 'unable to access'. Is there any way I can activate this GPS system ??? Thanks. Bosco
