CX 7: 210 km/h on German Autobahn

The title says it: I had the chance to go twice to the speed limit of my CX 7. This is possible on the German highway, legally of course!
Once on the way from Basel towards Karlsruhe, the other day from Lindau towards Mnchen.
The acceleration from 160 to 190 was amazing, you could really feel the turbo! Also the maximum of 210 km/h was easily achieved. The car felt very stable. It is to say that we in Europe have a reworked suspension which was optimised on a race course in Germany before the European models were released.
The guys in the big BMW's and Audi's didn't believe there eyes.......
I hope the you folks over there are not too jealous

Greetings
Jo

I think the suspension tuning is the same...thats why we like it so much and the magazines b**** that its too stiff. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

How it's look like with recalls in DE ?

This could help me have an opinion if Mazda deliver the same setup in Europe like in US. So I'll know where to buy some pieces if my car brake down :)-

In Europe the first CX7's were delivered 2 months ago.
So far no problems, no recalls, nothing. Thanks to you guys over there for testing it out. I guess we got the improved version.....

Greetings

and mazda deliver only 4WD to Germany, and there are only two versions you could buy. without nothing and fully loaded. so, it's very easy to decide.

i'm a little bit sad, because you can't get automatic.

btw: my car is still not there, but first day of deliver you guys will get a video live on german highway (drive)

U live in NV, so the roads are much smoother, try driving ur CX-7 here in NYC on a daily basis. I wouldn't want a stiffer suspension, i couldn't imagine them making a stiffer suspension. Basically i sometimes don't wanna drive it because of the unforgiving suspension, my girl's new '07 super low civic has a softer suspension.

Whats the top s[eed any has achieved? I took my friend to the airport the other day @ 5am, he drives a cx-7, and on the way back, I let her ripp!!
i got to 125 very easy, and felt very solid at that speed. im considering one for the girl. i wanna go drive it again!

I hit 120 on the speedometer but hit a virtual brick wall. While 120 was indicated, the car is governed at 117 and I think I hit the 117mph governor. I too was on the highway w/ no traffic but we were rushing to the hospital, not speed testing it - not a normal occasion or reason to hit that speed otherwise.

You'd be surprised...our newer main roads are very nice...our secondary roads are complete s*** with no end in sight. We actually have commercials on the radio now asking our state government to add money to the roadway system because our US and State routes are falling apart.
