2017~2024 CX-5: Trouble pairing new phone

2019 CX5 Reserve AWD
Picked up a new phone the other day. Samsung Galaxy A54. Un-paired the old phone and tried
pairing the new one. Everything is configured properly in the phone. CX-5 recognizes the phone and attempts
to pair but keeps failing.

Is it a software problem with the Infotainment software and the new phone??
Anybody pair a new phone lately?
 
Are you going to the bluetooth settings on the phone and telling it to search for new connections? Both need to be in the mode to pair new devices.

Yes, did that. Finally fixed it this morning. Did a hard reset on the Infotainment system - Back, Nav an Mute for 10+ seconds. After re-boot the phone paired fine.
Go Figure.
