Hey all, I'm new here. I did a search on this subject and couldn't find anything; therefore, I'm posting and hope someone can help me.
I just bought a 2014 CX-5 Grand Touring yesterday (9/28/13). Upon driving off the lot, I noticed the instrument cluster looked like model B in the the owner's manual. See the first pic and compare model B to model A in the other pic.
When I stopped I locked my doors by pressing the button twice hearing an audible horn honk as well as noticing another beeping sound (possibly the anti-theft system). When I came back to my car, I changed up the audio settings then went to the vehicle setting to adjust the locks/lights/wind shield wipers. Here is the buttons I pressed display: setup/vehicle/locks-lights-windshield wipers. After, I accidentally pressed the "rest to factory" buttons.
Next, I notice my info button as part of the steering wheel doesn't work; the instrument cluster appears to have changed from model B to model A; and now when I lock the doors, the horn doesn't honk anymore. I looked everywhere in the manual, and can't find anything as to why this occurred.
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.
