2013~2016: CX-5 Inner door panel peeling off

The passenger side inner door panel has a leather-like upholstry between the arm rest and the hard plastic beneath the window. It's peeled off at the top - there is a thin line of original glue still there but it won't stick. If I take it to the dealer they will want to replace it of course (as they are not interested in fixing it with glue - just selling new parts for old cars). I'm afraid of messing it up with leather or vinyl adhesives if I do it myself. Anyone else come across this and find an easy remedy?

If you don't want to mess with it find an auto upholstry shop or maybe a body shop.

I 'd try a little Goop glue and live with it.
