CX-5 GT track info containing foreign characters

Just got my 2014 CX-5 GT and love every bit of it. well, except this:

I play a lot of foreign music (Chinese, Japanese, etc) from my phone(Nokia Lumia 920) via bluetooth, and those song title/artist/album title are shown up as "*"s. I asked Bose if they have any kind of firmware updates for this, and they directed me to the dealership, which hasn't answered my email. But considering this is a brand new model year, it's not likely that they have firmware update for this IMO.

Just want to ask here: is there anyone experiencing similar issues? If so, anyone have any solutions other than rewrite the tag for that file?

Incredibly doubtful that your stereo has the foreign fonts in it to display those characters, and not very likely they will address it, I imagine.

I know, My current assumption is that the dealer will kick it back to Bose...
