yes, so do the Mazda premium liners. I thought the dealer had ripped me off until I lifted the mat and realized what had happened. I may use the stock mats that came with the car as summer mats so I can show off all three pedals. I find the alloy pedals are much nicer.

Was it difficult? If so, how so?

Probably just needs velcro backer as pictured. I dunno what they think is the "right" way, though.

Even the mazda oem pedals are easy. Brake slips on, gas and dead pedal require 2 holes and 2 screws. The aftermarket gas and brake slip on, and dead pedal is 2 sided tape.
None require professional installation.

I read the install was difficult as well....thought how can velcro be tough to work with lol Thanks for the question and the answers! I always learn so much on this forum!
I haven't got a clue what pedal I've got, but I find it perfectly satisfactory.
Also have zero interest in what the other pedals look like, all I want is something that works with out wet feet slipping of pedals, I have no complaints.
