CX-5 and Roof Racks ??

My opinion, the CX-5 looks like it's missing something without them. I'm going to try and get them wrapped in black when my new one gets here though. Everything black except for the rails looks odd to me.

The rails alone, as far as drag goes, I seriously expect any additional drag caused by them is barely measurable, unless you're tracking this thing, which I think would be comedic at best.

I like the look of the side rails and any parasitic drag, given the shape of the frontal aspect of the CX 5, would be minimal at best. It might even negligibly increase downforce.

The "Parasitic a drag" actually does not stick up at all (like all others I have ever seen) if u get the part for the CX-5. It molds perfectly to the front of the car and doubt causes any drag at all.

Couldn't agree more. I've never used our roof rails and probably never will, but I like the look they give the vehicle.

What are you talking about? The guy is referencing the very minimal drag that the roof rack side rails might create. Has nothing to do with the front hood protector you posted pictures of.
