CX-30 Transmission Fluid Flush or Drain and Fill

Hello, I have a 2022 CX-30 AWD. It is about to reach the 50k mile mark. I am thinking of doing the some maintenance other than oil changes, but I can't find much guidance in the manual.

My questions are:
  1. For the transmission fluid, should I do a drain and fill, or a flush? I called the dealership and they said they do flush only, but I could do a drain and fill on my own, but they didn't give any guidance as to which is recommended. Should the filter be changed too, or just a fluid change? For those that have done drain and fill only, have you had any issues?
  2. I also couldn't find any information on changing the transfer case and rear differential oil replacement. The manual just says that "replacement is necessary when it is submerged in water".
Thanks

A flush is the fastest and most complete in terms of the fluid change.

But it's good to do the filter as well, so the most complete job would be filter first, then use the machine for the fluid. If you have access to one and can afford the job.

A drain and fill can be done on your own but it's your time. And, it will take several rounds to get most of it.

The technically correct approach would be to change the filter and flush out all the old fluid.

That's what I would do with a higher mileage transmission that's dirty inside (But not damaged)

At your mileage, I would just do a drain and fill, though changing the filter is suggested.
