CX-30: One thing you would change or Mazda should redesign?

My 2023 CX-30 releases the parking brake when I take it out of park, my 2023 CX5 wouldn’t and it was one of the reasons I swapped to the 30.

I feel it’s unnecessary wear on the parking brake. The brake is engaging and disengaging twice per drive minimum and every time I get just a little closer to that repair bill.

Think positively: by activating the electric parking brake the chance of it getting stuck is much smaller

Far better than putting that strain onto your transmission every time you park on even the slightest slant.

Then again, that's still annoying, and I'm glad my 2015 model still has a mechanical e-brake. It has been both fun and immeasurably useful in snow.
