I found this guy that customizes the Greddy Turbo timer with RED LED's. IMO I think they would match our gauge color well. He also does them w/ the BLITZ and HKS timers as well. He is anticipating selling them for $105 shipped. $5 more than MSRP.and $39 if you ship him one to mod.

very nice. ive got a HKS with blue LED (which switch to red when counting down or hitting shift point). ive thought about modding it so its reverse but then i stopped caring. that looks really nice though

SWWWWEEET!!! I want to ship mine off and have the turbo timer and boost gauge done! But i need them for the mock up on the interior... DAH!!!

Thanks for the link man!!

Damn looks really good!! Can he do this with the profec boost controller also? If so im sold!!

Send him an e-mail. Info@audimods.com. After reading thread more carefully, it seems that he is only taking orders that are shipped to him for now. I sent thim an E-mail anyway.

My greddy already glows red under certain conditions. It's probably a matter of changing one wire that attaches to the led panel.

Well the guy just e-mailed me back. He doesn't have enough intrest on these so he is only doing them on a per-ship basis, meaning you have to provide your own TT.
Maybe if we get enogh people we don't have to provide a TT. Let's see a show of hands, how many people would be intrested in a group buy?

I just opened up my Greddy TT and in about 2 minutes figured out which wires feed the blue and red LEDS. Its the 3rd and 4th from the right side if you look at the ribbon cable feeding the front panel from the top. I just carefully cut those 2 peeled them up and and crossed them, then soldered them. I insulated them with a hot glue gun and then plugged everything back in again, worked perfect! Now its red all the time and blinks to blue when its counting down B4 you pull the emergency brake handle up. I've been wanting to do it since i put it in, this just gave me the push to finally do it.

I have a Greddy EBC on the way, when it gets here I'll do the same and post the instructions for it too.

I'll take pics then too, the camera was not here when I did the TT.

how did you figure out which one feeds the correct led's? i was thinking of trying it in on a Blitz DTT DC II Dual Turbo Timer instead of shipping it off...

I first took it apart and then plugged it back in with the covers off. Then with a volt ohm meter I tested all the pins on the flat cable feeding the face plate there was only one that had a full 12v. So I turned it off and observed that the voltage on that pin went on and off with the red LED's so i wrote that one down. Then i turned it off and on to make the blue LED's blink and found the other pin that blinked with the blue ones. Wrote that down, then switched them.

*side note*
I just put in a GReddy EBC, and was gonna change that to red also 'cept I noticed that its a nice bright true red color, but my TT is more washed with white kinda. More pink i guess you'd say. Both blues match though, so i think I'll just switch it back to blue so they match. I'm to anal to have them be side by side and be different shades of red.

thanks man, i'll give that a shot when i get my tt this christmas, i'm like 90% sure that my gf is gonna buy it for me :)

Here are some pics of my TT switched back to blue LED's. I didnt like how they didnt match the red's of the EBC so i switched them back. But its the same as when i switched them to red. The one pic is the wires soldered the other is the hot glue over it to seal it.
