Custom Rear Bumper Protector

Hey Guys

I wanted to know if anyone has ever made a custom rear bumper protector/guard. It's pretty much that black strip that goes on the bumper to protect it from scratches when loading in/out anything from your trunk. I saw some OEM ones online but they won't work for the area I'm going to cover. Does anyone know where you can buy this material and then cut it to customize the car?

well, the OEM option one is not really a strip of anything that can be cut. Its molded plastic.

When I got the clear bra put on the front of mine he suggested the top of the rear bumper as well so that may be a good option for you, may be a bit expensive though.

What brand and how long have you had it? I've got Avery and had it since last june I think no issues yet. They will all yellow eventually just depends on what brand how fast they do.

I am not actually sure what brand it was... it has been on for over a year though.

I actually already have the clear bra on which looks good. The only issue is that before I had the clear bra put on I had three scratches that I had them touch up. But the scratches are noticeable now and the clear bra just magnifies it. I want to put a strip of material over it so I can't see the scratches. I have been looking into the tank protector material they put on bikes and was wondering if any has any pictures or advice on how to do this on a car.

yeah Something like that but I want it to make a 2 inch high strip that goes across the entire bumper
