Well here are the rims all set and done with Gloss Black vinyl on each of the spokes.... (boobs)

Hey Boosted are those blue bat overlays or did you just use regular tint on you tails. I like them, might think about doing that to mine.

IMO, if you covered the entire ridge like in the mock-up pics you posted, it would look sweet. With just the outer bit covered with vinyl (or even paint, I suspect), it looks cheap.
