Custom Front Lip... What do you guys think?

I decided to make my own front lip based on the DG lip.
So I made a preliminary design in Catia (CAD program) and later I'm going to make a model out of foam.
Remember this is a preliminary design, to make the final design I have to take some dimmensions of the front bumper and use that to build the model.
Let me know what you think.

Nice... good CADing skills... I used to design a lot in auto CAD programs as well (3D MAX primarily)

The one thing I would design, or add in... Are the little diffusers DG also makes... You could change the design a little to match your style but I think they would look nice as well.

i like it. that is one thing i dont like about the dg lip is the part that sits on the side of the oe bumper. your design with it mounting on the bottem of the oe bumper would look much cleaner.

Precisely why I decided to design my own.

Oh yeah... I forgot to mention that it has functional brake duct inlets.
I guess you could also use them for intake.

Lol... It's not really for sale.
Maybe after I make the prototype I can make a mold and make more but for now it's a one of a kind.

I'll take the measurements I need to design the real one and post those pics sometime this week.
I dont have a time frame of when I might have the foam model done cause I have to see when the manufacturing lab will let me use the CNC machine.

yeah but that's expensive and i dont really like it.
I know it looks kinda like mine but this is just a prelim design
The real thing will be much nicer.

plus the Carbon Creations one doesn't flow well at all with the car. Looks like it was made for another car and just slapped on. Nothing lines up right. The rest of that MSP looks AWESOME though.

I feel the same way.....doesnt flow very well. Guess we'll see how this custom one is going to look like. The DG lip flows very well the car though, i just wish there were some sideskirts and rear lip to flow with it. Front end seems too aggresive for the rest of the car from any other view than straight on.
